The High School placement is taken during eighth grade. The 2024 cost for the exam was $20.00 per student. 

All Incoming Freshman Students are encouraged to take the placement exam. This test will be referred to when selecting classes for your freshman year.  All incoming freshmen students are encouraged to take the placement exam.

Placement test scores assist our efforts to place your student in honors or regular courses for Language Arts and Mathematics.  In addition, we utilize scores for recommendation and placement in electives such as Foreign Language. Each student from the St. Joseph Catholic Academy campuses will have a chance to earn the Principal's Scholarship.

Bishop LeBlond encourages any prospective student who is interested in learning more about our school to spend a day shadowing an LB student.  The student will go through a daily schedule of classes and be able to interact with LB students, faculty and staff.
